Abstract

Dr. Craig Singletary spent more than 30 years teaching communication at Linfield College and even more time as the voice of Wildcat athletics. He started the campus radio station (KSLC) and was so involved in the school's speech and debate program that the annual high school forensics tournament held on campus was named after him.

This interview takes place in the Jereld R. Nicholson Library's Austin Reading Room. In the interview, Singletary describes what brought him to Linfield College and discusses many of his experiences during his time of employment. Singletary gives details about some of the differences among the several presidents that were in office during his tenure and his relationships with them. The interview concludes with his forecast for the college in the coming years.
