Artist's Statement

Our world's composition is both rhythmic and varied in nature. A tree is not comprised of one pattern, but of many. The death of a tree fosters a sapling, lending it knowledge and nutrients through its roots. A decayed tree can also provide protection to the many disregarded creatures. Though we cling to the belief in a natural order, such a uniform structure does not offer the unique beauty found in imperfections.
