Artist's Statement
As a photographer, my work is focused in the urban setting. In this series, I am composing my images similar to a theatrical set which will transport my viewers into that moment in time. With this visual setting, I am creating a stage for my audience and allowing an entry into the work where the viewer can experience the city and surroundings. I like the interactive aspect to this series and the way the people are framed within each photo helps achieve this effect I am wanting to portray. I use the city as my focus point in photography because when I go out on a photo shoot I never know what I will encounter, or what will attract my eye on that day.
